FOR SKI RESORTS & MOUNTAIN DESTINATIONS

Shuttle bus tracking for ski resorts.

Give guests one browser map for your ski bus routes, stops and live vehicle positions — from the cabin area to the slopes.

A shuttle map guests can open at the stop.

A resort shuttle links places that guests may be visiting for the first time: accommodation, parking areas and the ski base. A route map helps them understand where the service goes. Vehicle positions add a view of where reporting shuttles are along that route.

Transpect brings routes, named stops and vehicle positions into one public map. Guests open a link in their phone browser, without creating an account or installing an app. You can share that link on your transport page, in a guest message or through a QR code at the stop.

01

Find the route

Show the shape of your shuttle routes and the stops along them, so guests can orient themselves before travelling.

02

See the vehicles

Display vehicle positions when trackers are reporting. Position freshness depends on the GPS source and connectivity.

03

Open it anywhere

Use the same map link from your website, accommodation information and signs. Guests need a browser and an internet connection.

Start with your routes and your GPS source.

  1. Describe the service

Share your fleet size, operating area, stops and seasonal route changes. Existing route data, including GTFS where available, helps us understand your setup.

  2. Review vehicle tracking

Tell us which trackers or GPS provider you use. We check the available connection and data format before agreeing the integration.

  3. Check the map on a real route

Review stop names, route geometry and reporting vehicles with your team. Test phone access and connectivity in the places where guests will use it.

  4. Share it with guests

Link to the map from your transport information and guest communications. Keep operating dates and timetables up to date alongside it.

Questions from resort operators

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. The public shuttle map opens directly in a web browser. Guests need an internet connection to receive position updates.

Can we use our existing GPS trackers?

We currently support GPS devices that send compatible position data over MQTT/TLS. Tell us your device model so we can check its configuration and data format. For other protocols, contact support to discuss and agree an integration.

Does the map predict arrival times?

The map shows reported vehicle positions, routes and stops. It does not provide predicted arrival times. Publish your operating times and timetable in your transport information.

What happens outside the shuttle’s operating hours?

Routes and stops can still help guests plan. Live vehicle visibility depends on tracker reporting and data freshness; an empty map is not confirmation that a service is cancelled. Guests should check the resort’s operating information.
